Poppy Appeal Gazebo on The Hollins:

The Poppy Appeal Team will have their Gazebo up on The Hollins from 10am until 3pm with lots of interesting items, including artwork from some of the local schools, a Tombola, FREE paper crowns for the kids, and special VE Day enamel pin badges. There may also be a visit from the cast of Dad's Army, which is showing at the Carver Theatre.
We would like to thank the following businesses who have kindly offered to donate tombola prizes. As you are probably aware, May 8th is the 80th anniversary of VE Day
The Marple Poppy Appeal Team has designed an A3 poster that is available for free, and we'd like you to dress your window with the poster and whatever else you want to provide. We will be giving a small prize to the best dressed display. It would be great to see the area celebrating this important anniversary, so please get involved by contacting us to request your poster.
