MOGpotpeople to take over Mellor and Marple Bridge?
Organisers of Mellor Open Gardens 2025 are hoping that residents and business owners of Mellor and Marple Bridge will support the event on Sunday 11th May by decorating the villages with flowerpotpeople which have been called MOGpotpeople.
A great way for the community to get involved
Anyone with spare flowerpots and wishing to be a bit creative can make a display in their front garden or shop window featuring a MOGpotperson of their own design in time for the event.
In the past, to show allegiance to the event, many MOGpotpeople have held a flag of support - featuring a drawing of our own friendly MOGpotperson specially designed by our guest personality, the renowned cartoonist Tony Husband.
