Terraces and Trees

G6: Sixty years of evolution has resulted in an interesting terraced garden merging steeply with nature.

A 60-year-old south-facing plot, this garden has had two owners and experienced many changes (with photos to show them).

The ground drops sharply down to the stream which is backed by a shelter-belt of trees.

Three terraces provide varied views and are filled with many flowers together with two lawns and large vegetable beds.

The garden has interest all year round.
