Callanish - The Standing Stones

G13: 'Rooms' linked by winding pathways feature an acer grove, standing stones, raised beds and a nod to Japan.

The front and rear gardens of this detached bungalow have been thoughtfully designed by the owners and created from scratch in the last eight years.

With the aim of being low maintenance, the different ‘rooms’ include areas for specimen trees, grasses, shrubs and climbers and these are subtly linked by winding pathways and stones set amongst aggregate.

Features include a small acer grove, standing stones, raised beds for vegetables and a secluded Japanese-styled area.
