Marple and District WI

A lively WI on the edge of the Peak District

We currently have 77 members. We have a few visitor spaces at each of our monthly meetings, so if you'd like to attend, do send us an email and we'll add you to the list. Our monthly meeting is on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Hawk Green Cricket Club, 7.30pm for 8pm.

We also have six sub groups - Day Walking Group, Evening Walking Group in the summer, Craft Group, Book Group, Gardening Group, Coffee & Lunch Group, and a programme of outings.

Annual membership is £44 and dual membership is £21.60, which can be paid by online bank transfer or by cheque.

Subgroups details: -

BOOK GROUP - meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 8.00 pm.

DAY WALKING GROUP – meets on the second and fourth Friday of the month at 9.30 am.

EVENING WALKING GROUP – meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 6.30 pm

GARDENING GROUP - meetings as and when

CRAFT GROUP – meets on the second Monday of the month at 7.30 pm at The Marple Tavern

COFFEE AND LUNCH GROUP - alternate Fridays to the Walking Group, alternating Coffee and Lunch meetings.
